In addition to résumé services, Write On Time offers quality writing, evaluation, and research services pertaining to projects in the nonprofit, government, and academic sectors. We have conducted projects centered on after-school, workforce development, branding, and public health, among others.

As of February 2008, Ms. Pérez works full time as an Administrative Project Manager in Operations for Presbyterian Healthcare Services.  The role involves ongoing training and involvement in performance acceleration (Baldrige, Lean & Six Sigma), group facilitation, reporting, research, and bilingual staff relations.

Ms. Pérez is an Associate with PRISM Evaluation Associates, which allows her to bring in additional expertise as needed.

Prior Consulting Projects include serving as Logistics Coordinator for the external evaluation of NM PreK being conducted by Rutgers University and Utah State University, facilitating Performance Roundtables at PNM, offering workshops on Qualitative Methods for Department of Health Community Health Councils, facilitating a workshop on communication for a Montessori school in Minnesota, and writing the organizational story of the Department of Education at Laguna Pueblo.

Ms. Pérez is an evaluator/researcher with an extensive background in qualitative research methods such as focus group interviews and individual interviews. She is versed in both formative and summative evaluation. However, she encourages her clients to utilize evaluation methods from the beginning of a program or project in order for them to receive meaningful information that can be used for quality improvement.

Her approach is collaborative, participatory, and strengths-based. Ms. Pérez is available as an independent evaluator and also frequently partners with other evaluators for particular projects requiring a team with a broad range of expertise.

Ms. Pérez is bilingual English/Spanish and is a practitioner of culturally competent evaluation methods. She has worked extensively across New Mexico and is familiar with the unique communities in each part of the state. She has experience with public health, education, and youth development.

YOUR EVALUATION EXPERIENCE IS CUSTOMIZED
Each program, project, or event requires a unique, focused approach that is effective and compatible with the people involved.

WHY DOES THAT MATTER?
Everyone has had frustrating experiences with evaluation. Some people avoid it all together. It can often feel like something imposed upon you...something that is not relevant. Our work is about identifying ways that evaluation can be a positive, supportive piece that illuminates all aspects of work rather than judgment that stultifies.

"Marissa Nordstrom Perez is a gifted professional who uses her unique skills of discernment to evaluate the strengths and needs of an organization. What makes Marissa so special is the way she so skillfully engages the staff, board and program participants in dialogue for in-depth evaluation and direction.

"Marissa is a joy to work with and her keen insight has helped us to look to the future in new, exciting ways."
